What is the major use of the MHI Series Branch Piping Kit?
The MHI Series Kit divides the flow of refrigerant R410A from one outdoor unit to multiple indoor units in VRF systems. It forms the heart of the piping system that makes it efficient in delivering multi-zonal climate control in commercial or complex residential developments, which maintains the balance and reliability of the distribution.
Can MHI Series kits be used with other VRF systems?
Yes. Our multi-step copper Y-joints are universal and can be installed in all the major OEM pipe sizes. This open-ended design reduces inventory and also removes the requirement of brand-specific components.
What are the advantages of the heavier-gauge and longer construction for my VRF system?
Thicker copper and increased length of construction reduce internal turbulence, providing a smooth flow of refrigerant. They also produce mechanical strength and an increased brazing zone, forming a joint that is robust, reliable and can withstand high pressure and thermal cycling, reducing the likelihood of failure.
What are the variations between Fire Grade XLPE and Class O insulation?
Fire Grade XLPE has good thermal retention and good fire-retardant capabilities, which prevent combustion. Class O NBR is very flexible, simple to install, and moisture-resistant and satisfies stringent fire, smoke and toxicity requirements. Select the one that suits your safety, performance and application requirements.
What are you doing to ensure that the joints are 100 per cent leak-proof?
We subject every copper joint to hydrostatic pressure of 5.2Mpa (approximately 754 psi). This pressure is well above the normal operating levels, and this ensures that all seals are airtight before delivery.
Is 227 Enterprise a producer or a mere supplier of such components?
227 Enterprise is a high-quality manufacturer and direct supplier. The MHI Series VRF copper joints are designed, engineered and manufactured in-house, providing you with the real parts, OEM grade, with complete traceability and performance guarantees, not a generic re-sold part.
Are you able to offer tailor-made MHI Series kits to non-standard projects?
Yes. We construct regular custom high-end VRF copper joints. Kits can be customized to meet your specifications, insulation type, fitting configuration, and non-standard sizes of pipes to suit any system design, architectural constraint, or special need.
Which quality certifications are the MHI Series products certified for?
The MHI Series is built to meet CE and RoHS norms and also complies with AS 4041 for pressure piping. So from a project point of view, it ticks the boxes for safety, environmental requirements, and pressure performance that are usually needed for overseas jobs.
Why would I prefer your MHI Series to the branch piping kits of other brands?
Select us to manufacture in-house, heavier construction, 100 percent pressure testing, and high-quality insulation. This combination provides engineered reliability and universal fit, reduces project risk, installation time and long term maintenance over generic, uncertified alternatives.
What is the ease of installation with your kit, and what are the benefits in terms of on-site errors?
The kit has pre-tested, highly accurate matched components with a universal multi-step design, which does not require additional adapters or fittings. This clarity also allows brazing to be much quicker and more precise, and minimizes errors or leaks in the installation that would otherwise have to be re-worked at a high cost.
